The Texas Municipal Police Association has teamed up with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to provide this free training for law enforcement. The purpose of this course is to reduce crashes, injuries, and fatalities of Law Enforcement Officers.
Our Law Enforcement Liaison (LEL) program staff and instructors bring to you over 113 years combined law enforcement experience. Using their experience, they have intentionally developed the Distracted Driving for Law Enforcement curriculum to better equip law enforcement officers with critical training on the realities of distracted driving and the dangers that surround them each day.
Please join TxDOT and TMPA as we diligently spread this life saving message and end the epidemic of distracted driving.
Texas Department of Transportation’s
2015 Summer Incentive
New this year, agencies who participate in and report activity for both the Memorial Day Click-It-Or-Ticket and the Labor Day Impaired Driving Mobilization will be eligible for a third “sweepstakes” drawing for ten $3,000 grants! Winning an award for either mobilization DOES NOT disqualify you from winning again in the Sweepstakes. The only way your agency doesn’t qualify for the Sweepstakes is by failing to participate and report activity in both Click-It-Or-Ticket and the Impaired Driving Mobilization. In order to create this third drawing, TxDOT has reduced the number of grants it will award for each mobilization from 20 to 15. Don’t miss out on this chance to win up to $9,000 in grants! Sign up for Click-It-Or-Ticket today!
